黄凯卿 (Kaiqing Huang) is an art seeker studying at the China Academy of Art, specializing in digital media and immersive technologies, with a focus on virtual production and Augmented Reality (AR). He is currently exploring the transformative potential of AR to blend the physical world with digital layers, creating works that range from live mixed-reality performances to interactive installations. His artistic practice involves collaborations with researchers, technologists, performers, and musicians, blending diverse disciplines to inspire new possibilities for expression and community engagement.
Kaiqing is passionate about experimenting with emerging technologies like motion capture, AI-driven generation, and multiple-reality interaction, using them to push creative boundaries and reimagine visual concepts.
In addition to his artistic work, Kaiqing integrates academic research and hands-on craftsmanship into his practice, seeking to deconstruct the principles of the world and explore diverse cultures, while continuously examining his own identity as an art pursuer. This blend of theory and practice remains a central source of his inspiration.
